New Product Launch: Our All-Natural Beeswax Lip Balm 🐝

We’re buzzing with excitement (pun intended) to share something we’ve been working on behind the scenes at The South Lakes Honey Company our brand-new Beeswax Lip Balm has arrived!

This little tube might be small, but it packs a punch when it comes to nourishing, protecting, and restoring your lips — naturally. Made with ingredients you can pronounce and packaged in fully compostable cardboard tubes, this balm is as kind to the planet as it is to your skin.

🌿 Why We Made It

Living and working close to nature, we see firsthand how powerful natural ingredients can be. We wanted to create a lip balm that reflects the values of our company simple, honest, and made with care. No synthetic fillers, no plastic tubes, and no complicated ingredient lists. Just a short list of skin-loving, time-tested materials.

🐝 What’s Inside

Here’s what makes our lip balm special:

• Beeswax – Our own beeswax forms the base, creating a firm balm that protects lips from wind, cold, and dry air.

• Raw Honey – Naturally humectant, honey draws moisture into the skin while adding a hint of sweetness.

• Tallow – A traditional skincare ingredient, tallow deeply nourishes and protects without clogging pores.

• Shea Butter – Rich in vitamins A & E, it helps heal dry or cracked skin.

• Coconut, Olive & Castor Oils – Together, these oils deliver glide, softness, and a long-lasting silky finish.

It’s all blended by hand in small batches, and poured into plastic-free kraft tubes you can compost after use.

💛 Why It’s Different

Most lip balms are loaded with petroleum-based fillers or come in plastic packaging that ends up in landfills. Ours is made to be:
