Why We Made Our Own Beeswax Furniture Polish 🐝🪑

At Southern Lakes Honey Company, we’ve always believed that nature knows best — and that’s what inspired us to create our own handmade Beeswax Furniture Polish.

Crafted With Purpose

We wanted something that was natural, effective, and deeply nourishing not just for our wood furniture, but for our homes too. So we rolled up our sleeves and made it ourselves, using pure beeswax from trusted local sources, blended with a rich mix of:

• Coconut Oil – for a smooth finish

• Olive Oil – to protect and moisturize

• Castor Oil – for shine

• Tallow – for durability

• Lanolin – to help repel moisture and keep wood looking its best

Why Beeswax?

Beeswax is one of nature’s most incredible protectants. It creates a breathable barrier that locks in moisture, enhances the wood’s natural grain, and leaves behind a gentle, honeyed scent — all without harsh chemicals or synthetic ingredients.
